3 days ago i had the incredible honor of photographing a birth! kevin and jessica are dear friends of mine, and when they expressed interest of wanting this amaaaazing time documented by me, i seriously jumped up and down of excitement. i document wedding day’s for a living, and i love every thing about it. however, there is something so unbelievably incredible about capturing a new life being born. i was in such amazement Thursday morning…amazement at life, amazement at women {my goodness what we go through to give birth!}, amazement at kevin as i watched him watch jessica…. i will never ever forget these moments as long as i live. i am humbled, honored, and so dang proud of her for pushing out a 10.5 lb baby – which took 33 hours of labor! FINALLY Gavin Bradley Grimes was born! big sister Ashlynn was so in awe of her new baby brother, it just added to the sweetness of the moment. i hope you enjoy re-living the morning with us. it truly was incredible. and baby Gavin, you are so beautiful!!!
